Shruti Kothari Tomar
She is a multitasking maverick, a grammar ninja who has a love affair with words, an eternal optimist, always ready to help, never says “no”, never ever complains, she has the brightest smile ever and the sound of her laughter can make the saddest heart leap with joy. She is my friend, my shoulder to cry on and one of the few genuine people I have found in an incredibly noisy and selfish world – meet Shruti Kothari Tomar.
Shruti styles people, shoots spaces and plays with words and can make anything look and sound more beautiful than you can imagine. She has written for and worked with all the heavy weight publications I can think of – Femina, Good Housekeeping, India Today Home, Times Of India, to name just a few and now has wr her own blog tokumbotales.wordpress.com
This shoot finally materializing, is nothing short of a miracle, but I am so glad that we managed to work around our schedules and the rains to capture Shruti’s radiant beauty and the start of a new journey in these precious pictures.
July seems to be the month for new beginnings in my life, my kids are born in and around July, this blog was born in July and now there is a new addition to the family, we call her “Maharain Baug“. Just like the name suggests, she stands for elegance, eternity, beauty, luxury, purity and unadulterated Indian-ness. Maharani Baug launches on 7th July with a line of antique statement white metal jewellery, some of which you can see on the beautiful, Shruti.
