Fashion For An Indian Winter Wedding
Its the last day of 2014!! and I am sure everyone is looking forward to boogieing the the night away, well, even if, like me, you are not there is still plenty to do to make the night memorable. Watch TV, eat some indulgent desserts, empty a few ice cream tubs, fill your shopping carts and wait for the sales to start..or make your goal list..whatever you choose to do enjoy it and make sure you wont regret it.
Happy New Year
Along with being the season for parties and crazy fun this time of the year is filled with Indian weddings, if you are not getting married yourself, you are sure to be attending the marriage of a friend, a cousin, a cousins cousin, a friends friend, a neighbour, a flame or a colleague your ex worked with years ago.
The arrival of the first wedding card of the season always brings with it a sense of excitement at the prospect of bringing out the finest jewellery and those carefully stored sari’s. But as the cards keep piling up the enthusiasm and creativity wains giving way to boredome and unimaginative dressing.
What To Wear To An Indian Wedding
We all need some inspiration every now and then, to help get through this season of serious Indian festivities. Through this video I hope to do just that, inspire us all to think beyond the conventional Indian wedding fashion. I got experimental with the traditional Indian wedding wear and come up with four Indian wedding wear options that are not for the faint hearted run of the mill dresser, these are for the new age Indian wedding guests who do not believe in following fashion rules, instead they pride themselves in breaking the rules while looking fantastic.
I worked with a wonderful and talented team (Saurabh Botre, Ashwin Shukla and Snehy Singh) to create this video and am so pleased with the results. So proud of this video.
I am so grateful to be able to share this video with you on the last day of this year….hoping to bring you many many more better and better videos in the year to come.
So here is the video, I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed creating it..
