Jacqueline Fernandez in Kick style decoded.
Last weekend I got my kick from watching the much awaited Bollywood flick kick. And boy did I have a blast, I really did enjoy the movie..
ok ok ok ok I know you have heard horrible things about the movie..I know..so a few disclaimers before I start
1. I love Salman Khan
2. I do not watch movies for the story line and the substance – heavy duty emotions and acting. I watch them for fun, a few laughs, gorgeous faces, groovy music, jaw dropping dancing and of course some awesome sauce styling and fashion.
Kick had all of this and much more – so I am happy, thrilled, ecstatic with the movie.
This movie was so well styled that for once I did not even notice Salman for long lengths of the movie. Having said that I have to say, age has started catching up, just a little with Salman and the silly mask was just that – SILLY!!
Jacqueline was styled beautifully in every scene and the makeup was pink and flawless throughout. She had on lipstick in every possible shade of pink in the movie and I want to buy each one.
She was styled by the uber talented and possibly the best in the business of fashion and styling – Bollywoods favourite stylist – Tanya Ghavri.
The opening scene sees Jacqueline opening a door, wind in her hair Bollywood style but styled in Hollywood chic from head to toe. Wearing a Victoria Beckham dress from her Fall 2012 collection, also seen on the petite designer herself. Jacqueline carried a stunning Chloe Paraty bag.
Then there was this elegant and classy look, reminiscent of Jackie Kennedy with nude pumps, button down lace dress, the chic trench coat, those geeky glasses (Head to toe in Dolce Gabbana). A beautiful look, polished off with that delish Dolce Gabbana Sicily bag.
Talking of Dolce & Gabanna, Jacqueline did wear a lot of the luxury label in the movie. Starting with a gorgeous fur collar trench coat, this black dress and the now famous teeny tiny lace dress from the song Jumme Ki Raat.
While the credits roll at the end of the movie you get to feast your eyes..nah not on Salman..nana..not Jacqueline either..but these beauties, Nicholas Kirkwood sandals paired with this Julien MacDonald dress.
There were some beautiful Anupama Dayal separates, put together beautifully and I do remember one cute Nikasha red and white suit.
All in all great styling and some fab fashion eye candy..so if for nothing else, watch the movie for the clothes.
But before I end have to mention Nargis, she rocked that song and that red dress. Have no idea who she is wearing, but she killed it with her stunning moves and that stunning body!! Loved the song all thanks to Nargis.
If you havent seen the movie enjoy the song here
Have you seen Kick yet? Loved Jacqueline’s styling? hated it? either way..tell me all about it.
