Desi Dreams...

You all know by now that I have been obsessing over my new favourite accessory the "maang tikka" (accessory on the forehead)..so I dug into my mom's closet and found this gorgeous kundan ear ring which I decided to use as my maang tikka.
Wearing a plain cotton silk salwar kameez, which the tailor stitched for me....I love the colour and the fact that it is versatile enough to dress up or down just by changing the dupatta (stole)....

  7. You look stunning in that outfit! I love the regained popularity of the bigger tika and churitang pants in Pakistan, I imagine theirs the same trend in India, they look so classy and traditional! I love the versatility of traditional jewelry, my sister and mom have been innovating the wear of their traditional pieces, ie. wearing necklaces/earrings as headpieces etc.
